CALEA continues to advance its mission of improving professionalism in public safety through accreditation. An important part of the process is the site-based assessment that focuses on compliance with standards, organizational and strategic results.
This peer review component ensures that the organization operates in conjunction with the appropriate policies and apply the relevant standards in accordance with the intention of the Commission. CALEA continuously seeks members of the Site-Based Assessment Team to facilitate evaluation services. This position is considered a great tool for career development and will increase the knowledge of best practices in industry standards.
