CALEA Regional Program Manager
The Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA®), the Gold Standard in Public Safety, is pleased to announce Frances Moore will join CALEA as the Mid-Atlantic Regional Program Manager. Ms. Moore joins CALEA after serving 33 years in public safety.
Frances Moore retired from the Greenville (SC) Police Department where she began her career in 1990 as a Communications Specialist and finished serving as the Communications Administrator and Law Enforcement Accreditation Manager. In this capacity, she spearheaded many projects impacting the department’s strategic goals and worked to develop and maintain agency policies in accordance with legal and legislative changes. She is active in the state chapter of the Association of Public Safety Officials and served on the APCO Board for more than ten years. Ms. Moore has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Furman University and an Associate's Degree in Business from Greenville Technical College. Ms. Moore served as a CALEA Assessor and Team Leader.
