CALEA TRI-ARC Excellence Award Presented to Two Organizations
During the Celebration Banquet at the Spring 2010 CALEA Conference held in Dallas, Texas, two organizations were honored with the CALEA TRI-ARC Excellence Award. The award was created to recognize entities that concurrently hold all three CALEA Accreditation Awards: Law Enforcement, Public Safety Communications, and Public Safety Training Academy.
The latest recipients of the CALEA TRI-ARC Excellence Award are Arlington, Texas, and St. Louis County, Missouri.
The award name was selected to reflect the three accreditation programs (“TRI”) and symbolize the synergistic power and light created as the result of an unusual achievement (“ARC”). A handsome cherry wood obelisk statute was created to represent the award.
