In addition, this course will include a facilitated discussion with practitioners to describe their experiences relative to this topic.

Leading with Accreditation
Challenges confronting Public Safety agencies require dynamic solutions. Operating in a purely reactive mode has become increasingly detrimental as challenges to public safety become more complex. Leaders actively pursuing CALEA accreditation are better equipped to face these challenges. This class will explore current topics of concern facing public safety agencies. Participants will explore the advantages of using accreditation for continuous improvement and as a tool to aggressively pursue future success.
What Worked for Us
CEOs and AMs will share how their agencies successfully managed the accreditation process, the challenges they faced and how they resolved them, the benefits of applying the CALEA standards, how to communicate them, community involvement, and long-term continuity of the accreditation.
Additional sessions will be offered by guest instructors. The CALEA sessions above are provided by CALEA Staff.
