Las revisiones específicas de contenido suelen producirse a raíz de cambios significativos en tecnología, fallos judiciales, lecciones aprendidas de eventos críticos y fluctuaciones en las normas o perspectivas sociales. Durante la Reunión General de Negocios celebrada en Jacksonville, Florida, el 13 de noviembre de 2025, la Comisión aprobó la publicación de varios estándares y definiciones para revisión y comentarios por parte de los clientes. Los estándares estarán publicados durante 30 días en CALEA.org. Los comentarios deberán presentarse por capítulo, indicando en la sección de comentarios el número del estándar correspondiente. El lenguaje eliminado se muestra en rojo tachado. El lenguaje nuevo propuesto se muestra resaltado y en negrita. El período de revisión finaliza a la medianoche (hora estándar del este, EST) del 4 de enero de 2026.

Periodically, CALEA updates its bylaws, policies, and standards to maintain the mission, purpose, and values of the organization. As the commission identifies changes, additions, and/or updates, the proposed item is posted to the CALEA website for client comment and feedback. Upon adjournment of the 2025 November CALEA Conference in Jacksonville, FL, the CALEA Commission is seeking input on several standards. The review period ends midnight EST, January 4, 2026. Please complete and submit your comments via the web form by midnight EST, January 4, 2026.
