Using PowerDMS, CALEA expands opportunities for qualified professionals while upholding its high standards of service. Using the PowerDMS cloud-based software platform, CALEA Assessor candidates with the requisite subject matter expertise, as well as existing assessors requiring reevaluation, can now securely perform this exam remotely.

All CALEA Standards Manuals have been updated and are available in your agency PowerDMS site. Please note, some law enforcement actions are effective IMMEDIATELY.

CALEA and PowerDMS announce the upcoming launch of a free platform to law enforcement nationwide. Coming in September, this platform will provide resources to support agencies in the delivery of professional public safety services within their community; giving agencies the opportunity to benchmark their policies and view examples of accredited agencies' policies using the international gold standard in public safety accreditation.

The CALEA Communications, Training Academy, and Campus Security Standards Manuals have been updated. The manuals are currently available in your agency PowerDMS site. When appropriate please publish the latest version of the manual in your agency's site.

In 2019 CALEA recognized 40 years of providing professional credentialing services in the field of public safety. As a result of the effort and dedication of all those associated with the organization, CALEA continues to make tremendous advancements, all culminating in the enhancement of services across each accreditation program.

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the operations of almost every organization around the globe, and has caused individuals to adjust their daily life activities to maintain personal safety and health.
